Founded in 1824, Balmenach is one of Speyside’s most traditional distilleries. In 1930, they welcomed a little innovation in the form of a Saladin Box that allowed the malting process to become economically friendly. What can we say? It’s a mash up between Tron and Futurama’s idea of how the internet started. A visual spectacle of neon line-drawing of parody retail buildings like: The Nile, Disaster of Malt and Cowgate Liquor. On the Tron-like bikes are familiar whisky faces working through a stack of whisky reviews and a Twitter feed.

‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
