Another delicious batch of single malt from Craigellachie, independently bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company. They’ve got their hands on a 9 year old single malt from the Speyside-based distillery, and bottled it up at 49.4% ABV. The worm tub on the label remains far too realistic for our tastes, but it does remind us that Craigellachie are one of the few remaining distilleries to use a worm tub to cool down vapour from the stills. Swings and roundabouts.
