Penderyn Sherrywood is matured in ex-bourbon barrels and ex-Oloroso Sherry casks – a change from their classic expression, which is finished in Madeira casks.

Nose is sweet and of good body. Plenty of honey and cut herbs and barley sugar. A mixed peel and sultana note.
Palate is of good body with a decent spice. Plenty of thick sherry and ground ginger with winter spice and oak.
Finish is quite long with sherry and oak.
