This Mystery Malt comes from a quirky distillery within sight of the Ben Rinnes mountain overlooking Speyside. This unsung hero of Speyside is used in world famous blends. Today, we present it to you under the name Darach Ruadh (red oak) for a tremendous
solo appearance.

THE ART OF MATURATION

• Nurtured in an American oak hogshead for over 18 years, this Speyside spirit has softened and developed classic fruity and spicy aromas.
• The Whisky Creations Team chose a freshly emptied Pedro Ximénez Sherry cask from Jerez to further mature this characterful malt.
• ‘Finished’ for an unusually long time (nearly three years), the sweet, rich, luscious Sherry has added further character to the malty spirit.
