Waterford Single Farm Origin Lacken 1.1
This whisky was distilled from barley grown in County Wexford by Francis Kehoe at his Lacken farm located two miles east of New Ross and the River Barrow on the Wexford-Kilkenny border. Thanks to its favorable environment, this barley is of very high quality, it benefits, in fact, from a sandy, well-drained and sloping territory.
The master distiller, Ned Grahan has made a beautiful blend of barrels, this whisky has aged in ex-barrels of Bourbon, new American oak, French oak, Port and Marsala.
We find a Malt of great complexity with beautiful fruity notes and a great indulgence in the mouth.
Region: Irish Whiskey
Made from barley grown on a single Irish farm, this single malt is characterised by superb fruity notes on the nose, a refined and smooth palate with flavours of cocoa, white pepper, nuts and grapefruit.
