The Starward team over in Melbourne, Australia is back with another helping of delicious ginger beer cask-finished single malt whisky! Starward teamed up with the Boatrocker Brewery to source those all-important ginger beer casks, which were used to finish Staward Solera (which is aged in Apera (an Australian fortified wine, not dissimilar to Spanish sherry) barrels). The result is a full-flavour, enjoyably spicy expression that will certainly stand out from the crowd.

Nose: Cinnamon gum and clove rock, cooked apple, orange peel, clear ginger notes.
Palate: Banana fritters, more ginger and cinnamon, a hint of caramel and mint leaf.
Finish: Fiery ginger lasts for minutes, mellowed by toffee and orchard fruit.
