Bottled in Bond and named for Colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor – a staunch supporter of the 1897 Bottled in Bond Act, this is a fabulous rye whiskey which is aged for four years before bottling.
Region: American Whiskey
Nose: Oily rye spices and all kinds of woody notes. Hints of dried peels, orange zest and linseed.
Palate: Thick with cooked fruit and caramel. Potpourri, rye, hints of butterscotch and prune.
Finish: Long, sweet finish. Very spiced.
