From the King Car Distillery in Taiwan comes another addition to the Kavalan Solist range! This particular expression was drawn from a cask that previously held intensely sweet Pedro Ximénez Sherry.
Region: Taiwanese Whisky
Nose: Chocolate covered pecans, sugared orange peels and a subtle hint of oak spice.
Palate: Juicy sultanas and plums, brown sugar, pineapple and another helping of chocolate-coated nuts.
Finish: Slightly herbaceous on the finish, though raisin sweetness persists.
