TOBERMORY AGED 20 YEARS – Distilled 1995 

On the north east coast of the Isle of Mull, you’ll find an ancient distillery, in the picturesque fishing town of Tobermory. Having spent most of its life in a bourbon barrel, our Whisky Creations Team filled this spirit into a fresh Madeira wine barrique.

THE ART OF MATURATION

• Matured in a refill bourbon cask to give soft, sweet vanilla and spicy flavours to this meaty malt.
• Further matured for nearly a decade in a wine barrique which previously held Tempranillo wine from the Callejo vineyard in the north of Spain.
• The Murray McDavid Whisky Creations Team then chose to finish this characterful malt in a freshly emptied cask used to mature sweet wine from Madeira, to add rich, integrated fruity notes.
