White Oak Akashi Single Malt Bourbon Barrel # 101486 – 500ml

R1,690.00

The White Oak distillery is perhaps the least well known of Japan’s whisky producers. The distillery was founded by in 1888 to produce sake, and because of this, has a legitimate claim to being the country’s oldest whisky producer. In 1919, Eigashima Shuzo obtained a license to make whisky — four years before Yamazaki was built. This White Oak Akashi was matured in a bourbon barrel and bottled at cask strength. If you want to try something truly exotic, then this bottle should be for you!
