It’s the seventh batch of GlenDronach Cask Strength, and it’s received a redesign since the previous batch! Drawn from a combination of Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, this stuff is full-on deliciousness.

Nose: Gingerbread, cinnamon, blackcurrant, vanilla pod earthiness.
Palate: Melted chocolate, coffee beans, heavy brown sugar and roasted nuts.
Finish: Lingering richness of mature oak and chocolate truffle.
