Single Estate Tequila – Ocho Anejo Tequila 2017 (Las Aguilas)

This Añejo Tequila from Ocho was distilled in 2017, hailing from the Las Aguilas ranch, which translates as “The Eagles”. This is pretty special seeing as it’s only the second time that agave has been grown there, with the last time around 1965.

What’s more, not all of the agave grown on the land is used for Tequila, with a small percentage left to grow to support the Bat Friendly Program, as bats rely on agave for food and pollination. A top Tequila that’s also helping the biodiversity of the area! It’s a win win.
