An independently bottled Highland whisky from Single & Single, this release is part of its Alter Ego range which highlights the character of younger single malts. This has been matured in an ex-oloroso cask and has aromas of salted cashews, sultanas and cherry on the nose.
Single & Single – Highland 2008 Oloroso 14 Year
The nose leads with saltiness and soft sultanas before being joined by baking spices and dried fruit on the palate, then wafting off in a long, sweet finish.
