Aberlour 2012 (bottled 2022) White Oak Cask Maturation

Another vintage of Aberlour’s White Oak single malt Scotch whisky has arrived here at MoM Towers! This one was distilled back in 2012, and left to age in American white oak bourbon casks until 2022, when it was bottled up at 40% ABV. Aberlour is well-known for making some cracking sherried drams, but this more honeyed, creamy style of single malt is rather excellent too, we’ll have you know.
