Glen Moray were one of the first distillery’s to experiment with Port casks, with this epression joining their Elgin Classic range of affordable no age statement releases back in 2014. It’s treated to an 8 month finishing period in Tawny Port casks before being bottled.

Region: Speyside Whisky

Nose: Familiar peat smoke off the bat, with characteristic butteriness developing.

Palate: Smoke never gets too intense, but plays a central role alongside vanilla and orchard fruit.

Finish: A little bit peppery, though still enjoyably sweet.
