GlenAllachie 10 Year Old Cask Strength – Batch 10

The 10th batch of GlenAllachie 10 Year Old Cask Strength is here! Each edition attempts to demonstrate the impact of cask management and in this case, master distiller Billy Walke selected Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso casks to be married with spirit maturing in red wine barriques and medium toast/medium char American virgin oak barrels. The resulting liquid was then bottled at a cask strength of 58.6% ABV, without added colouring or chill-filtration, and boasts plenty of sweet spice and dark fruit.
