Fragrant and firm-bodied, Glenkinchie is gently appetising on the palate. A fine aperitf, it keeps a smooth balance between sweet and dry.

To reveal the full depth and complexity of Glenkinchie in the Distiller’s Editon, the Master Distiller has-selected a small number of casks for double-maturing in Amontillado cask-wood, chosen to complement this delicate single malt’s light, sweet yet dry, floral style.

Intriguing nutty notes come from the wood itself and firmer, drier ones from malted barley and from echoes of the crisp grape once contained. Enormously malty on the palate, with a lingering dry finish.
