Kilchoman Machir Bay Cask Strength – Limited Edition

Kilchoman’s Machir Bay single malt is excellent already, but the Islay distillery decided not too long ago that it could take things up a notch with an annual release of a limited edition cask strength bottling. That is what we have here, matured in bourbon and sherry casks (predominately the former) and bottled up at 58.3% ABV with no chill-filtration or additional colouring.
