Laphroaig 34 Year Old – The Ian Hunter Story Book 4: Malt Master
**SELLING ON A BEHALF OF A PRIVATE CLIENT**
The fourth installment of the Ian Hunter Story series of rare and well-aged Laphroaig whiskies. Distilled in 1987, Book 4: Malt Master sees this impressively aged 34-year-old Islay single malt finished in first-fill oloroso sherry casks, after maturation in bourbon barrels.
This is the man who shaped us, built us, into what we are today. Ian Hunter resides in the soul of our whisky, and in the Laphroaig Ian Hunter Book 4: Malt Master, we honour his memory with a whisky every bit as rare and distinctive as him. Book 4: Malt Master is a tribute to Hunter’s love for being boldly different, this is a whisky with real character born of the signature Laphroaig peat.

Taste: A sweet, syrupy, fruity mouthfeel to start, it climbs and coats the whole of your palate. It dips to a huge second wave of aniseed, followed by creamy liquorice notes
Finish: A very long nish with lingering, alternating ashy vanilla and peaty aromas
