So instead we’re just going to tell what you probably already suspected: yes, Unexpeated has some peat in it. Specifically, it was finished in super-peated Islay whisky barrels to bring together two completely different worlds in one tasty whisky.

Nose: The nose is very tropical and fruity, with medicinal peat, cacao, and toasted oak.
Palate: Juicy red berries, coastal saltiness, toffee apple, milk chocolate, and hints of smoke.
Finish: Rich and earthy.
