This limited-edition masterpiece began during the winter of 2016, when Watts column-distilled malted barley to create a lighter style of a traditionally complex malt whisky. This spirit was then matured for a further four years in American Oak of varying ages, before a final finishing in seasoned Chenin Blanc casks for two years. This Chenin Blanc cask finishing results in a bright and flavorful malt whisky with a remarkable combination of spice, tropical fruit, and zesty lemon.
