erlour Casg Annamh – Batch 6
The Casg Annamh is a Single Malt which has been matured in three different types of cask: European Oak Sherry Cask and two different types of American Oak. The Spanish oak Oloroso Sherry casks have a significant influence on the non-chill filtered liquid and perfectly compliment Aberlour’s distillate flavour, bringing sweet and rich notes.
Region: Speysise
Nose: The aromas are rich and sweet with fruity notes of tangy orange, glazed cherries, raisins and a hint of ginger.
Palate: The Sweet and fruity notes continue on the palate – apple and cinnamon crumble and ripe peaches balanced with spicy notes of liquorice and cloves.
Finish: Is long and rich, fruity with a touch of dry spice.
